At Prellis Biologics, we engineer innovative synthetic transplantable organs as an alternative to human organ donations for advancement of treatment of human disease and develop in vitro tissue platforms for screening, diagnostics, and therapeutic development.
Prellis is looking for a Research Associate to support antibody development and data package generation for interfacing with biopharmaceutical companies. The successful candidate will support development of therapeutic antibody libraries, assist in cell culture maintenance, and provide technical support in data analysis, collection, and project development.
Design and execute cell and molecular biology experiments
Culture and maintain mammalian and human primary cells
Preferred Experience and Education
BS or MS with one of the following disciplines: Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or relevant field
1+ years of hands-on cell biology experience in an academic or industrial setting
Required Skills and Background
Experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays
Meticulous attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills
Self-motivated, flexible, able to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced & dynamic environment
Proficiency in standard molecular biology techniques such as nucleic acid extraction, PCR, DNA sequencing, or similar is a plus
Able to relocate to the Bay Area as needed
Enthusiastically willing to work in the lab 80-100% of the time
