Alison has spent all of her career in the medical device industry where she helped design, manufacture, and monitor various technologies (dental implants, pressure monitoring devices, and pulmonary artery catheters). She has a degree in chemical engineering from University of California, Davis, but has worked as a production engineer and as a R&D engineer in various disciplines of engineering (i.e. electrical, mechanical, and optical). She has extensive product development experience and has seen products through all phases of the development process (i.e. from concept phase to post-commercialization phase). She recently made the move to the San Francisco Bay Area and is excited to help develop, troubleshoot, and streamline processes at Prellis Biologics. In her free time, she enjoys trivia, reading, and cooking.
