Jolene Lujan

Senior Cell Biologist

Jolene graduated with a BS in Biology from New Mexico Tech. Prior to joining Prellis, she worked in infectious disease with a number of different institutions with a focus on respiratory illnesses. Her experience is working with bacterial, viral, and fungal propagation, as well as molecular quantitative assays, immunological assays, and titration assays. Jolene has helped develop in-vitro and in-vivo assays, utilizing pathogens in ABSL-2 and ABSL-3+ environments under GLP standards. Most recently, Jolene was a member of IRR, working to provide monitoring reagents for circulating strains of Influenza, Polio, and Yellow Fever around the globe, taking a leading role in optimizing the Yellow Fever ELISA. When not in the lab Jolene can be found going on adventures with her pups, crafting at home, or trying out a new recipe.
