Joshua Obiero, PhD
Scientist - Immunology
Joshua received his PhD in immunology from Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. A major part of his studies was conducted at the University of California, Irvine. His studies mainly focused on identifying vaccine antigen candidates for malaria using controlled human malaria infection model, and the applications of these targets in the rational design of next generation vaccines against malaria. Before joining Prellis, Joshua worked at California Department of Public Health immunodiagnostic section designing and developing assays for the identification of Salmonella sub-species.
Joshua enjoys both watching and playing soccer, spending time hiking with his dog (Zeke), and traveling locally and internationally.
