Rebecca Winchenbaugh

Senior Research Associate

Rebecca is an enthusiastic and driven research professional with a background in human genetics and immunology. She previously researched genetic and functional differences in monocytes in lupus patients with and without cardiovascular disease, where she gained experience in primary cell culture, qPCR, and flow cytometry. She joined Prellis Bio in order to apply her knowledge and skills to cutting-edge biomedical research of novel therapies for COVID19 and other diseases. She is excited to work as a part of the cell biology team to further Prellis's antibody development program.

When not working in the lab, Rebecca enjoys hiking, biking, and other seasonal outdoor activities across California. She also loves to travel both domestically and internationally and has previously spent significant time living in London, UK. Having recently moved to the Bay Area, Rebecca looks forward to further exploring the coast, hills, and city views in the region.
